Scott Porter, CPA
Scott specializes in tax planning and wealth strategies for high net worth individuals and business owners. Scott also specializes in real estate accounting, hedge fund administration, and trust and estates. In a nutshell, Scott’s focus is on minimizing your tax obligations and maximizing your long term wealth while balancing risk.
Scott holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Francisco State University. He currently holds CPA licenses in both California and Colorado. Scott has been working in public accounting since 1990 and established his own firm in 2001.

Scott has been married to his wife Aliene since 1989, has four grown daughters, and is an avid fly fisherman, outdoorsman, and guitarist.
Sorcha Porter-Holmes
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area Sorcha is a 3rd generation tax professional. She joined the SPC team in March 2020 after spending most of 2019 and the prior months of 2020 traveling the world full time with her husband Matthew Holmes, of 7yrs. Prior to her time abroad Sorcha worked full time in Operations and Business Analytics for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Portland Oregon where she specialized in process optimization. She’s our go-to-girl for all things administrative and is currently studying for her Enrolled Agents license.
In addition to her passion for travel Sorcha loves to sing. She is a formally trained Opera Singer and is versed in French, Italian, German, and Spanish. When not working Sorcha enjoys spending time with her husband and two Corgi puppies Arwen and Gimli and practicing her photography.
